Following posts
Booklet follows a philosophy of progressive notifications. By default, you will receive one email newsletter that summarizes all posts, replies, new members, and other community activity. But, sometimes you want more frequent updates.
By following a post on Booklet, you will receive an email or push notifications every time someone replies to that post. This is a great way to stay in the loop on a conversation that you’re interested in.
To get emails about replies to a post, navigate to the post and click the “Follow” button.
Some notes:
- You auto-follow your contributions: Whenever you create a post or reply to an existing one, you’re now automatically set to follow that discussion. This way, you’re always updated with responses to your messages.
- Replies to the same post should thread in your email inbox: If you’re following a post, you should see replies to that post in the same email thread. This way, you can easily follow the conversation.
- Each reply has an “unsusbcribe” button for that post: If you’re following a post and want to stop receiving notifications about it, you can click the “unsubscribe” link in the email. This will stop notifications for that post only.
